George Strayton has worked on more than three dozen tabletop RPG and trading card game products for companies ranging from Wizards of the Coast to Goodman Games. At West End Games during the mid-1990s, he worked as an editor, game designer, and creative director. During his tenure at WEG he wrote for STAR WARS, INDIANA JONES, MEN IN BLACK, THE HERCULES & XENA RPG, and more, including the STAR WARS, 2ND EDITION REVISED & EXPANDED RPG as well as THE D6 SYSTEM rulebook in 1996. In 1997, he was nominated for Origins® and InQuest® Game of the Year Awards for the MEN IN BLACK roleplaying game.
George has also had the good fortune to write for three Sam Raimi television series, including XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS and HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS. He also penned the screenplay for DRAGONLANCE: DRAGONS OF AUTUMN TWILIGHT (starring Kiefer Sutherland) for Paramount Pictures and in 2010 optioned a script based on the graphic novel XOMBIE to Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (writer/producers of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, TRANSFORMERS 1 & 2, J.J. Abram’s STAR TREK, FRINGE, HAWAII 5-O, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3, ALIAS, COWBOYS & ALIENS, etc.).
