Looking at the temperature today, 96 degrees, I see that Summer is in full swing. While technically its not until June 21, but let’s say that for all intents and purposes, it is here. With the Summer’s heat comes beaches, bikinis, and the best four days in gaming – Gen Con Indy.
Really it wasn’t just the heat that turned my mind to Gen Con. Working on the video for Pop Haydn reminded me that I had a few video bits of the Gen Con 2010 Zombie Walk on my back up drive along with a great song by my friend Rob Antecki and his band that were lonely and needed to get together.
So this evening while I have been at White Cap Comics playing Vampire The Masquerade, I tossed them together (with Rob and his band’s permission, of course!) to see how well they would play together. Also it is in honor of the upcoming Gen Con Indy 2011. Gen Con Indy is, in my opinnion, the best all around gaming, masquerading, anime/horror/sci fi, all things nerdy convention in the world (and if you think your’s is better, feel free to send me plane tickets and such and maybe you can change my mind! 🙂 )
In the meantime, forgive the quality of the video as it was a bit of an afterthought and I am still just learning that aspect of my Canon 7D and am playing with different video editing tools but the music is great so enjoy.
