Her Royal Majesty’s Steampunk Symposium blew it out of the water this weekend!
Well actually, I was blown out of the water by this wonderful Steampunk Symposium in this incredible setting that was anything but out of the water.
I had the nautic pleasure of being one of the many guests of Her Royal Majesty Victoria, Queen of Steam, on the amazing ship, The Queen Mary.
There was LARPing, dancing, feasting, merriment and more in the ballroom, decks, and all around and the attendees of this wondrous event even had the pleasure of the shipboard accommodations.
The food was so good that it was almost sinful (oh wait! Isn’t gluttony one of the 7 dead sins? Definitely sinfully delicious!)
While the food was enough to test the resistance of a saint, the ladies were deliciously gorgeous!
And, of course, there were dapper dandies and dashingly daring neer do wells!
There was mystifying magic and the masterful music of Jon Magnificent to entertain the Queen.
As time passes and the color fades in our memories the Friends and Fun Times will remained etched into our memories of this historical event.
