Madison Lintz at Murfreesboro Anime and Comic Con

Zombies seem to be everywhere I go of late, almost as if they were following me.

I saw Madison Lintz and other zombies in Murfreesboro at the Anime and Comic Con just over a week ago and then ran into Madison again at Wizard World New Orleans this past weekend.

At the Murfreesboro Anime and Comic Con I got the chance to sit down with some zombie makeup artists and actors for a chat.

Chris Pezzano, Mara (aka Mara Misanthropy), Rodney Hall, and Daniel Mazikowski have all been in movies as zombies and Daniel and Chris have also been makeup artists for zombies and other creatures of terror.

In addition to talking about their past roles and exploits, they talked about some interesting movies they are in that are not even out yet such as Revelation Trail which, from they tell me, sounds a lot like Jonah Hex (and I love Jonah Hex! Look at the end of this article to watch a trailer) Razor Days scheduled to be released on November 1, 2012 (from the trailer it looks to be a thriller where victims of torturers/serial killers unite to go back and hunt their tormentors.  See the end of this article for the trailer.)

In the interview these friendly zombies also spoke a bit about their roles in the upcoming production Night of the Living Dead 2012 which is slated to be in production later this year.

At Wizard World New Orleans I had the opportunity to interview a lovely pair of zombies, Zombie Lisa and Zombie Jessica, from the Crescent City Corpses.

While not professional zombies, these ladies did look fine in their makeup and, in addition to attending events like Wizard World they and their zombie cohorts do zombie walks, bar crawls, and karaoke.  Their message for our readers/viewers?  Support your local zombie!
