This weekend on either side of the Grand River in Lansing Michigan you will find all sorts of excitement. Shuto Con has returned to the City in full force.

The Bridge spanning the Grand River that connects the Raddison Hotel and the Lansing Convention Center
Last year Shuto Con rocked the Grand River’s banks and this year promises to be even better! There’s gaming galore with Roleplaying, Cards, and video games, Movies playing in multiple rooms.
For those who are more actively inclined there are plenty of opportunities to get your dance on. Last night in addition to the formal dinner and masquerade ball attendees had the opportunity to rock with Greg Ayers at the Friday Night Shuto Con Rave! Even if you aren’t inclined to dance, the concerts are toe tappers with 200x, Arc Impulse, The X-Hunters, and The Pillow Cases all performing live!
Shuto Con is a chance for fans of Anime, Video Games, and other cultural media to don their favorite costumes and celebrate in style with hundreds of other costumed characters and creatures. Whether or not you want to wear the costume of your favorite Anime or Video Game player there are also amazing opportunities to actually meet some of the actors that give voice to them. Special guests at this years Shuto Con include Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, Richard Epcar, Grey Ayres, Todd Haberkorn (The Weird Review’s Male Voice Actor of the Year 2011!) Fred Gallagher, and Doug Smith! Last years guests included Tiffany Grant, The Weird Reviews 2011 Female Voice Actor of the Year!)
I had to include this lovely Otaku’s artistry and I think Stephan Wanger would be proud of her artistry as she makes animals out of Mardi Gras Beads!
