If you are in Western Michigan, get over to JAFAX 2012 this weekend. If you’re not, its not too late to get here! JAFAX is nearly upon us and with it comes cosplay galore complete with a great Masquerade, Anime voice actors and artists, panels, artists and vendor exhibitions, games and lots of fun!
It is held on the beautiful Grand Valley State University Campus in Allendale, Michigan where the campus buildings and the natural landscapes provide beautiful backdrops for cosplayers to display their costumes.
You can participate in a wide variety of educational panels where you can learn to draw from the Magnificent Manga artist Doug Smith or even make a minion of your very own!
The con is Saturday June 23 from 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday June 24th 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. so come on over for a fun time with friends and soon to be friends!
For more about last years JAFAX check The Weird Review archive and check out our 2011 photo Anime photo galleries including the newly restored (we lost 10s of thousands of pics in a server upgrade last year!) JAFAX 2011 gallery!
