When my Facebook friend Rakeru messaged me through Facebook this morning and asked me if I was going to be at the Youmacon Cosplay Picnic I asked her when it was going to be.  Today was not the answer I was expecting but I had planned on being on the road as soon as I finished uploading a couple hours so I hopped in my car and headed over.

When I arrived Larry, photographic friend who shot Ohayo Con for me, greeted me with surprise, saying, “I didn’t know you were coming!”  I told him, “I just stopped at the park to use the bathroom and saw the crowd.”  He looked at me in shock and said, “WOW! Really?”  Larry is a sweet and innocent young fellow that is more gullible that I thought.  Suffice it to say I admited I had been summoned and came in response to a Facebook Beckonning.

After taking a number of pictures they decided they wanted a group picture so I offered to help out with that.  As I was directing folks into a better organized mix my phone went off and it was Samurai Dan letting me know that the folks at Ikasu Con had a press pass for me if I could make it.  So I took a quick set of pics of the group and was back on the road again.  More on Ikasu Con later but for now check out the Ikasu Con pics!  For those delightful people at the Youmacon picnic I am including a mini photo album at the end of this article and for more check out The Weird Review Youmacon Picnic Photo Album!
