October is the time to gear up and get in the Halloween spirit. A great way to do that is to catch a horror flick and one of the best places to do that is at a horror film festival.
Last weekend in the Chaplain Theater at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California, Shriekfest 2013 presented an amazing series of feature films and shorts. At one point there were too many people in line for the movie that they had to open another theater.
The Shriekfest Festival 2013 Winners Are …
Best Super Short Film: “Jack Attack” Written and Directed by Bryan Norton and Antonio Padovan
Best Horror Short Film: “Desolate Road” Written by Bill Bant and Directed by Marwan Abderrazzaq
Best SciFi Short Film: “Incident on Highway 73” Written by Michael Kirk, Directed by Brian Thompson
