On Sunday afternoon July 31st, 2011, the Sparta Area Migrant Resource Council and local growers, and community and services organizations held a celebration in the city of Grant, Michigan for the Migrant Farmworkers. There was food, games, music – including Los Tirados del Norte – dancing, information booths, awards, informative presentations and a whole lot more!
