Today the Steampunk Empire in Ohio announced that the popular musician Aurelio Voltaire will be returning to the midwest for the Steampunk Empire Symposium April 25 – 27, 2014 (tickets 20% off until the end of December 2013.)

Voltaire was recently at the Up in the Aether convention in Dearborn where he kept the audience entertained with his Gothic Pirate humor and performances of humorous and bawdy music.

In addition to his steamy, gothic, piratey music, he is also known for his Star Trek related songs you can find on his album Bitrektual.

He is also an author, recently publishing his first novel, “Call of the Jersey Devil” which is a horror comedy where New Jersey is the gateway to Hell and a washed up Goth singer, (certainly not based on Mr. Voltaire!) a witch, and five mall rats must save the world from the Jersey Devil.

Check out Voltaire’s performance of “When You’re Evil” at the Up in the Aether Convention (Warning – Mature language) and for more Steampunk fun, check out the  kickstarter of the awesome steampunk webseries “Tinker” with JOHNNIE SAIKO and Victor Sierra‘s new dystopian Christmas song, The Christmas Case.
