A Pickled Performance at the Steampunk Empire Symposium 2013

On January 6, 2014 Aloysius Fox announced that the Pickled Brothers Circus has been officially added to the Steampunk Empire Symposium line up.  The Pickled Brothers are holders of multiple world records and are known for their sword swallowing, fire eating, nail bed laying, and other acts of pain.  The event will be held over the weekend of April 25 – 27, 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Previously announced guests include Aurelio Voltaire and The Ford Theater Reunion.  In addition to his Pirate, Goth, Steampunk music, Aurelio Voltaire is also known for his Star Trek comedy music, Bitrektual, and is the author of the recent novel, “Call of the Jersey Devil.”  The Ford Theater Reunion has their own uniquely insane brand of high energy, steampunk music that shows you don’t have to suffer from mental illness.

Elsewhere in the world of steam, Frenchy and the Punk will be hitting Her Royal Majesty’s Steampunk Symposium  on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California from January 10 – 12, 2014.  Frenchy and the Punk will be joined by Unwoman, Steam Powered Giraffe, Abney Park, and Lee Press-on and the Nails, with Chicago’s Thee Bluebeard as the MC.

In addition to the music, food, and other festivities, two of the Tinker crew will be on the Queen Mary.  So be sure to congratulate Corena Gibson and Emily Lawrence on their recently successful Kickstarter campaign.
