The Chewbacchus Parade is, perhaps, one of the nerdiest parades and parties that New Orleans has to offer.
It is one of the smaller parades and held a bit off the beaten path.
It features characters from Star Wars or variations thereof. This years parade included the Death Bar which was Death Star-like in shape but was the vehicle for carrying the parades fuel for the Tie Fighters and other celebrants.
There were a number of other geeky characters in the parade.
