This weekend was a first for Grand Valley State University‘s Anime Convention JAFAX from what I was told. They had never had a concert for the convention. Before the concert some of the staff I overheard were wondering if folks would stick around for it since everything was over by then and the concert was a bit of a walk from most everything else, but any doubts were short lived.
Prior to the concert the crowd waited outside patiently in the heat while the performing arts theater was prepped for the concert. Once they were in, Salia and her singing, dancing performers had the crowd on their feet and moving to the music.
Salia’s DJ quietly kept the music flowing as her dancers added their visual artistry to the powerful energy of the singer/songwriters’s music flooding through her audience.
Salia invited a couple audience members to join her team for the final song. The JAFAX crew made an excellent choice in bringing Salia to Allendale and prior to the concert I asked if I could record a song and post it so here so you could see for yourself!
